Wholesale Hydraulic Oil 68 for Sale

Hydraulic Oil 68 is an industrial lubricant with a viscosity grade of ISO VG 68, designed for power transmission, lubrication, and protection of equipment in hydraulic systems.

Key Technical Properties of Hydraulic Oil 68

Hydraulic Oil 68 is typically formulated from mineral base oils and enhanced with advanced additives to provide the following properties:

Viscosity: Approximately 68 cSt at 40°C, indicating the medium viscosity of this hydraulic oil.

Viscosity Index (VI): Approximately 95–101, indicating relatively stable viscosity across changing operating temperatures.

Flash Point: Approximately 220–240°C, providing good resistance to ignition under operating conditions.

Pour Point: Approximately -11°C to -24°C, allowing the oil to maintain good flow characteristics at low temperatures.

Density: Approximately 0.878–0.885 kg/L at 15°C.

Other Properties: Excellent oxidation resistance with reduced sludge formation, superior anti-wear performance, rust and corrosion protection, rapid water and air separation, and excellent anti-foaming properties.

Applications of Hydraulic Oil 68

Due to its medium viscosity and high resistance to operating conditions, Hydraulic Oil 68 is suitable for a wide range of industrial and heavy-duty applications, including:

Heavy-Duty Hydraulic Systems:

  • Excavators, cranes, heavy-duty presses, and construction and mining machinery operating under high pressures, including applications exceeding 1,000 psi.
  • Suitable for gear, vane, and piston pumps.
  • Centralized and circulating lubrication systems.
  • Enclosed gearboxes and reciprocating compressors operating under light loads.
  • Other industrial equipment, including textile machinery, bearings, and power transmission systems.
  • Important Note: The main difference between Hydraulic Oil 68 and Hydraulic Oil 46 is viscosity. Hydraulic Oil 68 is thicker than Hydraulic Oil 46 and can provide better performance under higher loads and lower ambient temperatures. In comparison, Hydraulic Oil 46 is generally more suitable for high-speed systems and moderate to high operating temperatures.
